The First Day of Our Practice in Chor Bakir

Today was an unforgettable day — the beginning of our practice at the Chor Bakir Complex. Early in the morning, we set out filled with excitement and curiosity. The weather was warm and sunny, a perfect autumn day.

As soon as we arrived at Chor Bakir, we could instantly feel its ancient spirit. This place is not only one of Bukhara’s treasures but also a significant historical monument of all Uzbekistan. The domes standing proudly under the clear sky, the peaceful courtyards, and the old architecture — everything seemed to tell a silent story of the past.

During the day, we, together with our teachers, learned about the history, architecture, and spiritual significance of the complex. They told us fascinating facts about the famous figures buried here, the history of the construction, and its importance among the local people.

Each student was given small tasks: some took photos, others recorded historical notes, and some conducted short interviews with visitors. Everyone had the chance to gain valuable hands-on experience in their own way.


At the end of the day, we gathered for a short discussion, shared our impressions, and planned for the next steps of our practice.

This day was not only meaningful academically but also spiritually inspiring. In the calm atmosphere of Chor Bakir, time seems to slow down — you find yourself reflecting deeply and connecting with history.

Overall, our first day of practice was full of knowledge, warmth, and inspiration. We’re looking forward to discovering even more about this magnificent place in the coming days.

 🕌 Day 3 of My Practice: Exploring the Modarikhon Madrasa Today marked the third day of my practical training, and it turned out to be a truly inspiring experience. Our group visited and studied one of Bukhara’s most beautiful historical monuments — the Modarikhon Madrasa. Seeing this site up close and learning about its history left a deep impression on me. 🏛️ Historical Background The Modarikhon Madrasa was built in the 16th century (1566–1567) by Abdullah Khan II in honor of his mother.
